Clark Elster NPS (master pastelist), charter and signature member and past President of the Northwest Pastel Society; member -- Oregon Pastel Society; member -- past President, Puget Sound Group Northwest Painters. Twice published in the "AMERICAN ARTIST" magazine; paintings in private corporate collections throughout US, and in Canada, Europe and Japan. Workshop instructor. Primarily a self taught artist who began painting in 1985. Has studied and painted with Pat Fridell, Doug Dawson, Daniel Green, Arlene Hooker-Fay, Ned Mueller, Lorenzo Chavez, David Leffel, Desmond O'Hagen and Albert Handel.

Each of my landscape painting were painted on the smooth side of toned Canson papers (my ground of choice) using a selection of Rembrandt, Sennelier, Schmenke soft pastels, and NU Pastel.
